Account Clerk IV

This position is a team lead in the College of Dentistry Billing and Collections division and will cover for the Billing & Collections Manager in her absence.

The person is this position is responsible for posting patient and insurance payments for College of Dentistry patients in the patient billing system. The posting of insurance payments includes account analysis, and processing denials, adjustments, and secondary insurance.

This position will also be responsible for managing the calls and emails in the Dentistry Portal on Billing and Collections issues and maintaining an effective filing system.

Preferred Education/Experience

Prefer experience with billing and collections in a medical and/or dental practice with multiple providers; monitoring and resolving issues on patient accounts; and must have proven experience working with vendors and internal and external customers in a positive and professional manner.

The ideal candidate will have account reconciliation experience in a medical or dental clinic. Individual must enjoy working with accounts and details on a daily basis, while identifying and researching issues to completion. In addition, mush have proven experience with the following skills: organization, accuracy, time management and customer service
