Summary of Duties:
The Fiscal Analyst 1 is responsible for the fiscal accounting, reconciliation and analysis of the private donor scholarship and alternative/private loan process. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that scholarship and alternative/private loan receipts are processed timely, scholarship awards comply with donor restrictions, cash received is reconciled with awards given, and all discrepancies are researched and resolved. The incumbent serves as the primary liaison between students, donors and the University regarding outside scholarships.

The incumbent is also responsible for reviewing student refunds for compliance with Federal regulations and that errors are corrected prior to issuance.

The incumbent is responsible for processing student credit card refunds, including verification of amounts owed, method of original payments and amount to be refunded.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, which must include at least 18 quarter or 12 semester hours of accounting, auditing or budgeting; OR equivalent education/experience.
