Adjunct Faculty (Part-Time)
The Department of Public Health within the School of Nursing, Health, and Exercise Science at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) invites applications for Temporary Adjunct Teaching Faculty positions on a semester by semester basis beginning August 25, 2017 (fall term) and/or January 22, 2018 (spring term).
The ideal candidate will have teaching experience, preferably in Public Health Policy, Health Systems, World Population Health, Introduction to Epidemiology and/or maternity or Environmental Health. Applicants must be committed to alerting and engaging students in community Public Health activities. Applicants must be willing to teach in the evenings at times, coordinate with the Department Chair about needs for accreditation, and attend adjunct faculty orientation and end of semester evaluation meetings.
Applicants must have at minimum a Master's degree in Public Health (MPH, MSPH), the social sciences or communication studies with an emphasis in Public Health, or a comparable degree and have demonstrated excellence in teaching, research and/or Public Health practice.
