Job Description: Loyola University Chicago (LUC), College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor Rank in organic chemistry, beginning in Fall 2018 and pending final approval of funding. The Department offers Ph.D., M.S., and ACS-approved BS degrees. For more details about the department, visit Candidate will be expected to maintain an internationally competitive, externally funded research program and participate in undergraduate- and graduate-level teaching. Besides teaching and pursuing their own scholarship, candidates are also expected to involve undergraduate students in research and to engage in service for the department, college, and university as requested.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in chemistry or in a closely related field; Postdoctoral experience; Potential for or record of distinguished teaching and student mentorship;
