Job description

Duties: The Manager, Membership and Development Data Systems, is an integral member of the Morris Arboretum Development team. The successful candidate will manage the Morris Arboretum Development Office's development data within two databases (Raiser's Edge and Atlas). Principal responsibilities include:
-Processing gifts and memberships
-Preparing queries and reports to meet the department's reporting needs
-Managing and maintaining data integrity by establishing (as needed) and enforcing policies and procedures in both Raiser's Edge and Atlas
-Supporting and training staff on policies and procedures for entering data in Raiser's Edge and Atlas
-Serving as the primary contact between the Morris Arboretum and the University of Pennsylvania's Office of Gifts Administration and Records
-Import and export data from both databases
-Create timely and accurate mailing lists
-Assist in managing the full-time Development Data Assistant and part-time Membership Assistant

Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED and 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Proficiency using Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word is required. Proficiency using a fundraising database is required, Raiser's Edge experience is preferred. Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and follow-though on a variety of concurrent projects.

-Previous work experience in membership
-Previous experience with fundraising events
-Strong analytical skills
-Proven attention to detail
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to lead and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Previous supervisory experience

Some night and weekend work is required. Valid driver's license and own vehicle is required.
