The School of Medicine has a unique new opportunity for a highly motivated administrative professional to join our team as a Medical Education Program Coordinator. The position requires exceptional organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication, sound judgment, ability to prioritize/juggle multiple responsibilities simultaneously. The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide administrative, operational, logistical, and fiscal support for the Longitudinal Patient Experience (LPE), a new program which pairs medical students with patients for their four years of undergraduate here at UVa. Students will serve as patient advocates and help guide them through the health care system. The candidate will also assist faculty and staff with other Office of Medical Education programs and special projects.
A bachelor's degree and 4 years of administrative experience are required. 4 years of progressive experience in medical education may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
