Posting Summary:
The Department of Family Medicine is seeking an Intermediate Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the department and faculty. Duties include but are not limited to: administrative support for the Primary Care Center Clinic Medical Director, administrative support of Promotion and Tenure process, maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, travel, meeting minutes, and maintaining the Family Medicine website as well as other administrative duties as assigned.

The successful candidate must have at least two years of administrative experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) is required; New Innovations and A2K3 are preferred. A Bachelor's degree is also preferred.

This position is restricted and contingent upon funding.

Ability to manage competing deadlines; time management; editing skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; high competence with grammar, mechanics, and usage; ability to work collaboratively on a team; facility with learning new software.
