Degree and Area of Specialization:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
One to three years of intercollegiate athletic experience is preferred. An understanding of NCAA, Big Ten and University rules and regulations is also preferred.
Under the general supervision of the Head Coach, act as the Director of Operations for a Division I Men's Basketball program in accordance with NCAA, Big Ten, and University regulations. Duties include: assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Men's Basketball office; developing and maintaining the annual budget; coordinating all travel; coordinating practice, game and facility schedules; serving as a liaison with compliance office ensuring adherence to Big Ten and NCCA rules; serving as a liaison with the Men's Basketball Sports Administrator; serving as a liaison with the Academic Services Office, Sports Medicine, Athletic Business Office, Video Services and Equipment Room, etc.; and other duties as assigned.

This is an 11-month, Limited appointment, serving at the pleasure of the appointing authority. Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. An excellent benefits package is also included. Anticipated start date on or after August 28, 2017.
