Depending on Qualifications
Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, preferably in accounting, finance, or business.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
More than three years of experience with clinical trial budgeting and/or post award management is preferred.
Experience in a medical, research or educational setting strongly desired.
Knowledge of federal rules and regulations and sponsor requirements relating to research grants and contracts, specifically clinical trials is preferred.
The Clinical Research Accountant will join the Department of OB/GYN's clinical research office that provides clinical research coordination and regulatory support services to faculty, staff, and trainees conducting obstetrics and gynecologic-related research.
Prior work experience should demonstrate dependability, flexibility and maturity. Candidates must be positive, even-tempered, and effective in building interpersonal working relationships with various personnel. Employees will be expected to consistently demonstrate the following behaviors: clear and effective communication, promotion and creation of a collegial environment that values accountability and constructive interactions.
Prefix assignment will be determined by years of relevant work experience.
