Job description

Duties: Ability to interpret and work from drawings, sketches, an Operation and Maintenance manuals. Ability to plan, set up and carry out carpentry projects from start to finish. Knowledge of the principles and methods used in the install and repair of windows, doors, framing, sheetrock, flooring, ceilings all types, cabinets, counter tops, partitions, shelving, wood fencing, decking, stairs, and finish work. Ability to prioritize and finish work tickets in a timely manner. Ability to work with other trades as a team or alone to complete task. Ability to use carpenter shop machinery in a safe manner. Also to maintain all tools and equipment.

Qualifications: A High School Diploma or GED and 5 years to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Must have successfully completed one of the following:
*An approved accredited apprenticeship (4-year program) in Carpentry*Carpentry trade-specific vocational school (2-year program)
* Carpentry trade-specific military school(s) and experience.
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in the carpentry trade.
Must have experience working in a multi-trades environment AND must be willing to conduct work outside of his/her primary trade, as operational needs dictate.

Must have own hand tools. Ability to lift and climb. Possess a valid driver's license free from any suspension or revocation from the individuals state of permanent residency.
