Ria Financial is looking for a Systems Administrator to be based out of our corporate office in Buena Park, California. The Systems Administrator will provide systems engineering expertise to the company. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Ensure all Infrastructure Systems are functioning properly, within the design and security specifications established by IT Infrastructure, and that all applicable policies, processes, and procedures are properly communicated
  • Contribute to the success of the team by developing and utilizing effective lines of communication with other members and providing support to others as needed to ensure cohesion and consistency in approach
  • Management of HIGH VM's / HOST's in a SAN-based, clustered, HA / FT environment
  • Active Directory / GPO design architecture, sustainability and support, DHCP & DNS a must
  • Ability to support a 24x7x365 operation, including participation in monthly IT maintenance systems patching.
  • Prepare documentation and training to support IT and related processes
  • Plan and manage their own work in a complex, changing environment in order to meet set objectives and deadlines
  • Understanding of current technologies and ability to evaluate emerging technologies (E-mail Archiving, Content Filtering, etc.


Job Requirements
  • Bachelor degree with a technical major such as engineering or computer science prefered
  • 3 years minimum of experience in systems administration
  • Project experience involving technical consulting, solution design, project envisioning, planning, development and deployment
  • Working experience on HP server hardware/software configuration and administration such as HP C7000, Cisco UCS and related technologies
  • Strong experience with AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, FTP, IMAIL,VMware vCenter 5.x, 6.x, 2012 RDS and various other aspects of managing Windows 2012 R2 domains
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange 200
  • Problem remediation for ESXi servers, vCenter, and related VMware technologies
  • Moderate experience with SCCM and SCOM
  • Extensive experience with Windows Server OS,
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery experience
  • Experience with tape backup libraries and backup software such as HP Data Protector or similar
  • Experience with a Corporate Anti-virus solution
  • Experience with Backup, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity
