Duties: Reporting to the Senior Director, Finance and Administration, Provost Administrative Affairs ('PAA'), the Business Administrator C is responsible for the management of all aspects of the compensation, travel and cash receipt processes for the non-research divisions that make up Provost Administrative Affairs. This includes understanding and applying applicable accounting standards and policies; analysis, reporting and research; as well as managing the processing from start to finish.

Due to entrepreneurial nature of Provost Administrative Affairs, varied and unusual situations frequently arise. The Business Administrator will proactively act with staff to handle these situations to ensure compliance. This individual must utilize substantial interpersonal, written and analytical skills in order to communicate with all levels of the Provost including senior leadership, faculty and directors as well as external clients and contractors.

Qualifications: Bachelor Degree and 3-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with limited supervision, and demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. High attention to detail, accuracy and follow through required. Strong computer skills with proficiency with MS Office required. Knowledge of the following University systems for financial management is preferred: BEN Financials, PennWorks/UMIS and Concur.
