ADMINISTRATIVE ASSOCIATE II

Job Summary *This position is only available to current UGA employees* This position will provide administrative support to advising units within the Office of Instruction, including the Exploratory Center, Pre-Health Advising Office, and Pre-Law Advising Office. Operational duties will include management of front desk services, student staff, telephone lines, physical office and supplies, purchasing and preparation of check requests for vendor payments and travel reimbursements, and collecting personnel information for student workers in cooperation with the business manager Program support duties will include general support of advising services and event planning for three advising offices, such as the annual Law School Fair and Health Professions Fair. Administrative support for New Student Orientation sessions that occur in December, January, and May-August will require close work with Exploratory Center staff and other campus partners on a daily basis. This position will provide logistical support to advising offices as they establish co-location in early 2018. Because this position must work with a variety of stakeholders and manage multiple outreach projects, an exceptional degree of professionalism is expected. Additional duties and opportunities may develop as Office of Instruction advising units expand mission and services in the future. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and three years of progressively responsible office experience OR Associate's Degree and one year of responsible office experience may be required.
