Senior Assessment Coordinator
SCAD seeks a senior assessment coordinator to manage the university’s academic assessments and institutional effectiveness.
In this role, you will facilitate and oversee the quality of the ongoing evaluation of student learning in assigned academic, administrative and education support services units. In addition, you will monitor the use of assessment results for continuous unit improvement.
The ideal candidate possesses the theoretical background and skills needed to lead the assessment process from concept to completion, including articulation of learning outcomes, instrument design and formatting, data collection and entry, descriptive analysis, presentation of results, and discussion of implications and next steps.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills are essential, as is proficiency with Microsoft Office products and statistical analysis tools, such as SPSS. You should demonstrate adaptability, flexibility as well as the ability to execute plans to achieve multiple goals within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization. Experience presenting complicated information to audiences with diverse backgrounds and creating innovative, meaningful displays of information is required, as are skills in qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis and reporting.
Preferred candidates will have experience in art or design disciplines as well as with administrative software packages, relational databases and query tools.
