CNC Machinist/Programmer (mp)
This local manufacturing company is seeking a CNC Machinist/Programmer for a full-time opportunity. You will set-up, program (using C&M Codes), and operate CNC Mills and Lathes, follow instructions, read and interpret blueprints, utilize measuring equipment, perform machine maintenance, and monitor tool life. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Qualified candidates must have at least 2 years' experience working in a manufacturing or shop environment, must have experience with Solidworks, CAMWorks, or equivalent software, must be able to read and interpret blueprints, must be familiar using measuring equipment, must understand C&M Codes, must have basic machine maintenance skills, must be dependable, and must be safety-conscious. Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered. Any candidate that has experience with aluminum and has a 2 or 4 year Degree with a background in Applied Science/Engineering is a plus.
