Administrative Support AST IJob Description:
Data management: Data entry and updates into shared databases comprising academic HR and budgetary information, including regular reporting. Maintains the accuracy and integrity of data within scope of position. This includes tracking assistantship budgetary commitments and other student funding cost shares, tracking self-funded revenue and expenditures and out-of-load payments to instructors, and tracking and initiating payments to teaching assistants.
Responsible for assigning and tracking distance learning fee allocation, spending, and compliance reporting. Support for material and supply/equipment fee processes.
Responsible for annual/cyclical academic fiscal and HR tasks including updating, generating, and collecting graduate assistant letters of appointment.
Serves as liaison with SFRC core fiscal and HR staff on various processes.
Assists Academic Support Manager with scheduling, reporting, and other clerical tasks.
Collaborate with University and program staff on shared efforts, attend trainings, meetings, and other functions as needed.Advertised Salary:
$36,000-$39,000; commensurate with qualifications and experience.Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant experience.Preferred Qualifications:
- Four years’ relevant experience.
- Demonstrated intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and/or SharePoint.
- Experience with UF self-funded programs, fiscal operations, and/or academic support services.
- Excellent written communication skills, with emphasis on customer service. Fast learner with meticulous attention to detail.
