Job Description

Full-service advertising agency seeking a full-time salesperson to solicit new business. Our agency plans and executes monthly advertising campaigns for our clients, which includes: creative development, copy writing, media buying, creative production, ad delivery, and media monitoring. We need you to bring in the business.

We have a solid list of high-profile local and national clients, and looking to grow. Our creative work is second-to-none, so selling our product should be the easy part; getting potential clients on the phone is where you come in!

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in sales/marketing; previous advertising sales experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the automotive business a huge plus (a large percent of our business is automotive)
  • Must possess excellent organizational/time management skills
  • Must be self-motivated, self-disciplined, have a positive attitude, and be an effective communicator
  • Must have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Power Point specifically)
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Professional and articulate communication skills
  • Strong verbal/written/negotiating skills
  • Aggressive and competitive sales attitude with an outgoing and positive personality
  • Multi-tasking in fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment (great organization skills a must)


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Soliciting new clients through cold calling/lead lists
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential/current clients
  • Maintain a pipeline of leads and prospective clients
  • Prepare and present proposals and advertising plans
  • Meet quarterly sales quotas
  • Maintain daily call logs/lead activity
  • Requires some travel (attending client meetings/seminars)
  • Any other tasks required in order to grow business
