The University of Virginia is a highly competitive Division I program committed to academic and athletic excellence. The Department of Athletics at the University of Virginia is now accepting applications for the position of Business Analyst to support the Athletics Business Office.

The Business Analyst position exists to provide program support duties for the Athletics Business Office in an effort to achieve operational excellence. Responsibilities include: exemplary customer service to internal and external constituencies; conducting trend and data analysis to maximize current and future resources; daily interaction with various University departments and vendors to ensure appropriate accounting, system functions, procurement and ordering of services; performing general accounting services; and managing and tracking special projects to meet the strategic and annual goals of the Business Office. The incumbent will also maintain policy oversight for camps associated with the department's many sport programs.

This position requires an incumbent with impeccable attention to detail, communication, and customer service skills.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Working knowledge of office practices and procedures. Ability to utilize office equipment, facilities and materials needed to complete assigned tasks. Superior communication in speaking and in writing and strong attention to detail. Ability to set and manage multiple priorities. Ability to work with central Integrated Systems Financial applications. Ability to handle duties that require problem solving, research, preparation and analysis of data and preparation of spreadsheets. Ability to present a professional demeanor, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills while delivering a high level of internal and external customer service. Ability to conduct activities and make decisions according to ethical standards. Superior problem resolution skills. Excellent multi-tasking and follow-up skills.
