Advertised Salary:

Minimum $37,893 ANNUAL (12 months)

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree required. Masters degree in Higher Education, Education, Business, Counseling, Economics or related field preferred.



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

At least one year of experience working with students, preferrably in a higher education setting. Experience in advising preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills. Excellent analytical, oral, written and computer skills, including use of Excel spreadsheets and Access databases. Experience working with international students or living abroad strongly preferred.



Position Summary:

This position serves as the primary administrative contact and program coordinator for the Master's program in the Department of Economics. The Department is large with 1,200 undergraduate majors, 200+ masters students, and 150 PhD students, along with 35 faculty, 10 teaching staff, and 15 support staff. This position will serve the master's population and represent the department on campus committees, professional workshops, and graduate school events.
