Starting pay is based on experience, with a minimum starting rate of $14.25 per hour.
This position provides administrative assistance to the Chair, the Associate Chair, and the Summer Chair in one of the largest academic departments in the College of Letters and Science with approximately 60 faculty, 150 graduate students, a number of academic staff (including tutorial staff, computer staff, library staff, lecturers, and faculty assistants), honorary fellows, and 11 administrative support staff. This position must exhibit a great deal of initiative, responsibility and independence in providing input into Department decision making and in establishing and carrying out the Department's policies and procedures.
