ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR, Associate Provost for Diversity & Inclusion (4909/H0317)
Responsible for providing administrative support for the Associate Provost for Diversity & Inclusion and assistance in managing projects, initiatives, and communications related to the office of diversity and inclusion.
B.A. /B.S. and two to four years of relevant experience. A passion for issues of diversity and inclusion is highly desirable. Excellent communication and organizational skills, including ability to write well and to deal effectively and diplomatically with various constituencies. Careful attention to details is necessary as is the ability to appropriately and sometimes quickly sequence and prioritize workflow. Must be able to work independently, to anticipate Associate Provosts needs, to set priorities in consultation with others and manage competing demands, and to handle sensitive/confidential information. The position is ideal for a motivated, entrepreneurial professional who has demonstrated project management experience. Ability to conduct research, synthesize and analyze data and other information, and to produce written reports and evaluations is desirable. In addition to the above, successful candidates will undertake their work with a keen sense of purpose, humor, curiosity, and an overall level of calmness, even while juggling multiple complex projects. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and WordPress helpful.
