The Senior Recruiter serves an integral role in the growth of enrollments within the professional graduate audience. The individual in this role will develop and implement field recruitment strategies to achieve organizational enrollment and revenue goals, and be comfortable with a role that is sales-oriented. The ideal candidate brings significant sales and/or recruiting experience to develop and execute innovative ways to reach the target audiences through field recruitment. Specifically, he/she will work with the leadership team to develop recruitment targets, and partner with enrollment marketing, enrollment services admissions operations, and marketing & sales operations to ensure achievement of recruitment and enrollment goals. This role requires effective cultivation of business and industry relationships with decision makers in key industry pipelines, which include (not limited to) attending industry meetings and conventions, events and networking opportunities.
The Senior Recruiter is responsible for overseeing the activities and performance of a recruitment team. This role will ensure the team has the necessary resources to perform properly and monitor the achievement of goals and objectives by the recruitment team. He/she will evaluate the performance of recruitment staff and provide feedback, support and coaching to improve the recruitment experience. Responsibilities are similar to a team lead in nature, whereby he/she will coordinate training, set strategy and provide context to a team of professionals who are executing recruitment tactics.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player with proven sales/recruitment experience who enjoys being out of the office, more than in it. He/she will be adapt at problem analysis and problem-solving, and thrive in a fast-paced, goal oriented environment. Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for communication are necessary.
A bachelor’s degree is required, along with a proven track record of 5+ years of experience in all aspects of planning and implementing sales or recruiting strategy. The ideal candidate is comfortable with formal presentations, informal networking and brings strong sales and/or recruitment skills. He/she should have experience in managing and directing a sales or recruiting team, and be adapt at team-leadership and information management. The successful candidate will be persuasive and consistent with their judgment and, and bring a passion about helping professional adults further their education. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is a must, and comfort with attending recruitment activities. Travel is necessary along with schedule flexibility.
