The Department of Neurological Sciences at the University of Vermont, Larner College of Medicine (LCOM) and the Neurology Health Care Service at University of Vermont Medical Center has established a General - Comprehensive Neurology Program and we are recruiting a clinical neurologist to join our evolving program. The successful applicant will be someone keen to be involved in clinical care and teaching in an academic setting at the Academic Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont. The primary clinical practice site will be primarily in Burlington, caring for general neurology referrals from the community and some specialists. As part of our evolving integrated care delivery system, this position will also participate in general neurologic care and some teaching at our network affiliate, Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital, in Plattsburgh, NY (80% UVMMC, 20% CVPH).

All applicants must be American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology board eligible/certified. Fellowship training in a clinical neurology discipline is desired, however is not a requirement. Our goal is to continue the high level of clinical care and education that the health care service currently provides as we develop our clinically integrated network supporting the North Country region of upstate New York. Although research is not a requirement for this position, there is ample opportunity for the candidate to develop clinical research projects.
