The Department of Family Medicine at The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont and The University of Vermont Medical Center invites applications for a board certified Family Physician Medical Director. The selected candidate will join a busy and collegial program. Administrative focus will be in Family Medicine Colchester which has undergone health care delivery transformation at The University of Vermont Medical Center. Experience in Patient-Centered Medical Homes, quality reporting and accountable care is required. Leadership experience and some experience with project management is highly desirable.

Priority will be given to applicants who have experience providing family medicine clinical services in an academic setting. Our faculty participates with teaching in our family medicine residency education program and our medical student educational programs. Our 6:6:6 residency program is fully accredited.

Clinical focus and experience in the areas of maternity care, administrative leadership and teaching will be influential in the selection. The academic appointments will be commensurate with experience. This is a full-time position with a faculty appointment on the Clinical Scholar Pathway (non-tenure) at the Assistant/Associate Professor level.
