Nature of Work:
The Associate Director of Financial Aid Compliance will coordinate compliance with all Federal Student Aid and Georgia Student Finance Commission regulations regarding the administration of Federal and State financial aid funds. The Associate Director of Financial Aid Compliance will coordinate routine sampling of financial aid awards to ensure compliance with regulations, will coordinate and oversee Financial Aid fund reconciliation procedures, and will serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external audits of financial aid processes.
Bachelor’s degree required. 5+ years working in a college/university financial aid office. Knowledge of both Federal and State (Georgia) Financial Aid regulations.
Master’s degree preferred. Experience in accounting and/or fund reconciliation preferred. A minimum of 2 NASFAA Credentials
Salary $52,056 minimum - $65,676 midpoint
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Ability to move about the office freely, communicate without restriction, lift heavy boxes of files, and work outside of normal scheduled hours as needed.
