Organizes and coordinates the activities and operations participates in and oversees scheduling, Department meetings (working in tandem with the Operations Manager), labeling and overall foodservice operations. Directs, oversees and monitors the work of warehouse staff, performs related work as required. Employees in this classification MUST function with a HIGH degree of independence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains standards of work, organization, and performance.
- Ensures that Daily inventory are properly reconciled, working with Operations Manager
- Reviews, maintains, and prepares necessary records and reports such as Summary's, production sheets, and inventory.
- Trains, assigns, and monitors the work of others in a Managerial capacity and arranges for substitute staff as needed.
- Prepares/Assigns schedules and vacations.
- Participates in orchestrating needed training and performance evaluation

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
B.S., Business Admin or 4 year degree
Assoc. of Applied Sciences with combination of the following:
5+ years in office setting with significant customer service relationship experience.
2+ years of Management experience demonstrating ability to consistently meet deadlines. Prior bookkeeping experience and or working knowledge of various accounting software. Equivalent 8+ years working in office structured environment. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) previous experience in food service or institutional foodservice management.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in a one-on-one and/or small group setting to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and
Distance. Utilization of spreadsheets and database programs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with day-to-day personnel and operational challenges.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:
Microsoft Office Suite affiliated certificates, leadership training, Conflict Resolution, project management, Customer service resolution training.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Ability to direct the operation of all phases of front office functions including, use of copier, fax, scanner, printer, workstation terminals, VoIP phone system. Ability to adjust current procedure as identified through daily analysis of need. Work with I.T. Company (Net Activity) to troubleshoot, prevent malicious acts and maintain Network
