Payroll / Accounting Manager
We are seeking a Payroll/Accounting Manager! You will be responsible for the effective management and profitable operation of your assigned branch office.
- Audit payroll reports for compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Ensure that payroll is submitted by the deadline.
- Prepare payroll journal entries and accruals.
- Respond to payroll inquires from employees and managers.
- Work closely with Human Resources Manager to ensure that all new hire information, pay rates, and benefit deductions are accurate.
- Ensure that the hotel is in compliance with all federal and state laws.
- Asset and liability reconciliations
- Intercompany billing and reconciliations
- Month end journal entries
- Other projects assigned by Director of Finance
- Prior accounting and/or payroll experience
- Intermediate level user of Microsoft Excel
