The Graduate Education Department at Curry College invites applications for part-time faculty to teach at the Associate Lecturer level in the Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in Educational Leadership program. Our CAGS program is an extension of our Principal and Supervisor Licensure Program (PSL). Students who complete the PSL program can take an additional four courses to earn their CAGS. Graduates of other DESE-approved similar programs are also eligible to apply to the program.
This position will provide instruction in Educational Leadership. The successful candidate will have experience at the school/district level dealing with contemporary issues affecting the unique needs of students and faculty members, including the training and supervision of teachers. Graduate courses are 8 weeks in length and offered in a hybrid format, generally with five in-class sessions and three online sessions. Blackboard is the course management system. The courses are typically scheduled in the evenings from 5:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m. This fall semester, the courses will be offered on Thursdays.
- A Master's Degree in Education or related field, doctorate preferred.
- At least five years' experience as a school or district leader, with working knowledge of contemporary research-based practices.
- Doctorate in Education, with teaching hybrid/online courses at the college level.
- Familiarity with the Curry Principal/Supervisor Licensure Program.
