Job Description: East Carolina University School of Theatre and Dance (NAST accredited) seeks Lighting/Sound designer for well-established BFA-Theatre Arts program. This will be a temporary fixed term Teaching Instructor appointment to begin August 14, 2017. Responsibilities include: Lighting and Sound design for ECU/Loessin Playhouse main-stage season (Five productions in McGinnis Theatre Season fully-equipped, fly-rigged, 600-seat proscenium theatre); mentorship of student designers; supervising student crews; and teaching design-related courses from a menu of Lighting Design I & II, Sound Design, Vectorworks, et al.

Minimum Qualifications: MFA is required or equivalent experience in Lighting and Design.
