Job Summary:

Under the general supervision of the SWAP Program Specialist Supervisor, this position is responsible for performing pick-ups of surplus property at UW-Madison departments and Wisconsin state agencies in the Madison area as well as being a backup driver to MDS. This position helps sort, scan, load, and deliver MDS/SWAP purchases and cross dock merchandise daily in an efficient and safe manner within set time limits. This position's primary purpose is the picking up of surplus property after all deliveries are made before returning to the MDS/SWAP warehouse. At the MDS/SWAP facility, this position will assist with moving material to designated areas, documenting the receipt of material, performing all required vehicle inspection reports, and perform other duties as assigned to keep the warehouse functioning efficiently.


English Proficiency Required - This position requires one or more of the following abilities: ability to speak, read, write, and/or understand verbal instructions in English
