We work closely with customers in primarily administrative units, both within UW-Madison and across UW System schools. We use a wide range of tools and techniques to build applications that will run in all environments, along with implementing and supporting packaged software and developing application interfaces.

Integrated Applications provides front-end web development, enterprise-scale software engineering, and integration services for campus-wide services provided by DoIT. The work we do is varied and challenging, so you will need the tenacity to take on development projects that benefit students, faculty and staff at UW-Madison and beyond. You'll have an opportunity to learn while you work as part of a team to help customers to design, build, and deploy custom applications.

The Developer position requires someone who is passionate about custom application development in a modern environment, thrives on teamwork, and is comfortable working with a range of languages (e.g. Java, Javascript, and/or related dialects). You should have knowledge of modern techniques in object oriented programming as well as experience with modern frameworks, libraries, tool sets, and development practices (continuous integration, version control, etc).
