RESEARCH STUDY TECHNICIAN, Center for Regenerative Medicine (8927/H0217)
The Research Study Technician will work in the stem cell and regenerative medicine laboratory in the Center for Regenerative Medicine. The incumbent will conduct supervised experiments on cell lines and perform molecular biology techniques, as well as the maintenance of mouse colonies for the laboratory. Additionally, the Research Study Technician will assist with technical aspects of experiments under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI) or other more senior research staff. Prepares and maintains research and laboratory materials; makes observations and assists with data analysis of experiments. The incumbent will oversee daily laboratory operations, including organization and ordering of laboratory supplies, assistance with protocol development and compliance, and database management.
12+ months of experience and Bachelor's degree required. The candidate should have a B.S. preferably in biology or a related field. The successful candidate will have excellent organization and communication skills, and proficiency with basic computer software.
