The Department of Teacher Education at Michigan State University is seeking outstanding candidates for anticipated fixed-term (non-tenure stream) faculty positions in support of our teacher preparation and master's programs. These are primarily part-time positions with the possibility that some may be full-time (one academic year appointments) based upon applicant qualifications and program needs. Primary responsibilities may be at the East Lansing campus or at one of our off-campus sites in Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Chicago.
Responsibilities may include some combination of the following: teaching preservice or master's level courses in subject matter pedagogy, learners and learning, special education, diversity, action research, curriculum development and integration, or foundational studies in education; field instruction with 5th year interns and assisting with the administration of the teacher preparation program.Required Degree

Candidates with a bachelor's and/or master's degree and exceptional experience will be considered, appropriate K-12 teaching and school experience or relevant college-level teaching; evidence of scholarly and professional contributions to state/national professional associations, and leadership in regional or national professional development or curriculum projects.Required Application Materials
