The TAMS/Honors College at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Administrative Coordinator I to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: * Primary Contact for the Terry Foundatio.* Undergraduate Research Scholarships and Nationally Competitive Scholarships. This includes the application process.* Answering questions, and calls, making appointments, reserving rooms and planning meetings and events. * Maintain the NSC data base.* Serves as the contact for the Honors office for Phi Kappa Phi.* Works with the Senior Academic Counselor in matters relating to scholarships, Honors contracts, appointments, graduations etc. * Serves as Assoc. The successful candidate will possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent and three years of general office or clerical experience. Substitution of education for experience allowed. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required:* Basic MS Office skills.* Ability to problem-solve and make decisions.* Ability to effectively communicate.* Knowledge of policies, practices, procedures and terminology of assigned function.* Skill in composing routine letters and preparing reports.* Skill in recording and compiling material for reports.
