Assistant Professor (Finance)
General Description of Position: The Department of Finance at Kansas State University seeks to fill one Assistant Professor position. The appointment will begin in Fall 2018. The successful candidate will be expected to produce quality academic research, effective teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. Candidates with ABD status will be considered but is required to have a completed Ph.D. from an AACSB accredited university by the start date. Experience working with diverse groups and professional experience is desirable. Information About the Department: The Department of Finance at Kansas State University primarily serves the undergraduate program in the College of Business. There are currently seven tenure-track faculty and two instructors. There are three degree tracks in the Finance major, which offers the students an opportunity to focus on their career objectives. NOTE: We will do initial interviews at the Financial Management Association (FMA) 2017 Annual Meeting in Boston in early October with invited candidates who have previously submitted applications.
