Summary of Duties:
The Assistant Director is a member of the Student Affairs and Enrollment Administrative Professional staff and as a staff member in the Center for Fraternity & Sorority Life is responsible for the student/ community/ leadership development program for the Washington State University Fraternity/Sorority Community, which includes more than 70 fraternities and sororities. Various agencies, organizations, businesses, University departments and individuals consult with the Assistant Director regarding concerns and interactions with the Fraternity/Sorority Community. The Assistant Director advises councils and chapters on matters of educational programming, philanthropy, leadership, judicial processes, and academics.

Required Qualifications:
Positions require a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and four (4) years of progressively responsible relevant experience, which has included at least one (1) year of managerial experience. A Master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for up to one (1) year of the required experience. Education and experience can be tailored to fit the specific organizational entity/directorial assignment. Positions may require applicable licensure and/or certification.
