Summary of Duties:
The Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine (ESFCOM) at Washington State University is embarking on the accreditation and development of a next generation medical school designed to train students to be physician leaders, who innovate, adapt and discover in an ever changing healthcare landscape. The School is now inviting applications for the position of Assistant Director of Student Affairs who will join the Student Affairs team in leading the college into the future.

In collaboration with the Associate Dean plan and coordinate the development, implementation and execution of programs special projects, and other initiatives designed to achieve the overall mission, goals, and objectives of the ESFCOM related to Student Affairs.

This position will coordinate services with Student Affairs Offices on four WSU campuses (North Puget Sound at Everett, Spokane, Tri-Cities, and Vancouver), including but not limited to community engagement and volunteerism, student wellness, and housing.

This position will support student organizations through guidance and oversight of student activities and projects. Position will assist medical students with transitions between the four campuses.

The position duties and responsibilities will be performed in support of the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine vision, mission and values as well as institutional mission and goals.

Required Qualifications:
Positions require a Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. Experience leading or directing the work of others. A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a yearforyear basis.
