Assistant Professor of Womens and Gender Studies
Bucknell University's Department of Women's and Gender Studies invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning in the Fall semester of 2018. We seek a women's/gender/sexuality studies teacher-scholar with expertise in modernist literature. In addition to courses related to their particular area(s) of expertise, the successful candidate must have demonstrated ability to teach Introduction to Women's and Gender Studies and upper-level courses in areas such as history of sexuality, women's literary history, modernism, and/or feminist theory, as well as courses that contribute to Bucknell's general education curriculum. Evidence of teaching excellence is required. The successful candidate must have an active program of scholarship and a track record of active support for diversity and inclusive, innovative pedagogy. A Ph.D. degree is required.
