Duties: This is a senior level position whose primary purpose is to design, perform, optimize and implement complex clinical observational and interventional trials in glomerular disease patients, developing new theories and methodologies. This is a leadership/management position that requires hiring, managing and mentoring research coordinators, research assistants and interns. Working with faculty PIs, the incumbent will develop new projects, by designing and troubleshooting study procedures and by completing data analyses. The successful candidate will manage and participate in collecting subject data for research. They will write related human studies (IRB) protocols and manage their acceptance and maintenance. They will work closely with the pathology departments of multiple hospitals, and interact with other research centers, industry sponsor and the NIH to carry out complex multi-center studies. The incumbent will contribute to writing/reviewing manuscripts, preparing presentations, establishing collaborations as well as writing/reviewing protocols and SOPs. The incumbent will also be required to contribute substantially in grant and manuscript writing.

Qualifications: Highly advanced professional discipline. M.D., Ph. D. or equivalent doctoral degree and 5 years to 7 years of experience required.
