ADMINISTRATIVE ASSOCIATE I
Job Summary This position is part of a front-office staff of a mental health clinic (operating similar to a medical office) and is primarily responsible for facilitating the academic and clinical instructional mission of faculty and supports professional activities of graduate students training as therapists. This position is responsible for monitoring clinic compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the policies and procedures outlined in the UGA Psychology Clinic Staff Manual. This position inputs client data and clinic documents into Titanium, the electronic medical record (EMR) system for the clinic. This position provides coverage as needed when another staff member is absent. This position is primarily responsible for management of the EMR system, including serving as the clinic contact person to Titanium, the service provider, and working directly with Clinic Director to ensure the EMR system is running efficiently. This position is responsible for maintaining the BTV (video-recording) system and related viewing laptops for faculty. This position is responsible for maintaining the intake schedule, providing administrative support related to assigning and closing therapy cases, and archiving and destroying records under the direction of the Clinic Director. This position is primarily responsible for administrative duties and record keeping related to the yearly transition of graduate student therapists and supervising faculty into and out of the clinic. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and two years of progressively responsible office experience.
