STUDENT AFFAIRS SPECIALIST II
Job Summary The Coordinator for Facilities is crucial to the successful operation of the shared-use Ramsey Student Center as well as the satellite and outdoor facilities and reports directly to the Assistant Director for Facilities. This position assists in the recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, supervising and evaluating of a staff of 150-175 student facility employees and supports programs sponsored by the Department of Recreational Sports, the College of Education and the UGA Athletic Association. This position also manages retail services and facility access; assists with the planning and development of a comprehensive informal recreation program; and provides evening and weekend facility supervision and event coordination, as needed. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in field appropriate to area of assignment AND two years of administrative and appropriate program experience; OR Master's Degree in field appropriate to area; OR six years of progressively responsible administrative and appropriate program experience; OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
