The Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, located on Long Island in New York, seeks applications for adjunct faculty positions in its online Health Law and Policy degree programs. The online programs were launched in 2016 and feature asynchronous, 7-week courses which are taught entirely online.  Positions are currently available for this upcoming Fall 2017 semester's course: “The Law of Medical Product Discovery and Development.” This course focuses on FDA law. It has already been prepared and constructed, and is need of instructors for additional sections that are being created to accommodate the programs’ growing student population.

Additional opportunities in other courses are anticipated as well in the semesters to follow.

Candidates must demonstrate a strong record of excellence in teaching, scholarship and/or practical experience in the field of health law and policy. We will consider candidates who are new to law school teaching, as well as those who have previous experience as law professors.  Although past experience in online teaching is preferred, it is not required.
