Manages and directs the initiation, planning, execution of the GHS-CU Expansion project for the School of Nursing. Directs and manages the integration of people, processes, and technology for expansion success.
30% - Essential - Directs the preparation of necessary documentation for National and State accreditation reports. Ensures evaluations and plans for the GHS-CU Expansion project and the Joint Nursing Education Committee are completed. Assures that the GHS-CU Expansion projects are compliant within the designated standards and schedules, produces assigned outcomes and assures appropriate personnel complete assigned responsibilities within specified deadlines. Prepares and manages budgets for specific project initiatives.
30% - Essential - Manages quality improvement processes relating to the curriculum, to the strategic plan, and education to practice for preceptors within the GHS-CU expansion project. This includes the development of the implementation plan for movement from University Center Greenville (UCG) to Clemson's School of Nursing new center (Nursing Center for Health Innovation and Research) related to transportation, classroom readiness, faculty offices, and technology for the learning environment.
15% - Essential - Coordinates with the Public Information Director (and the department) to implement key community messages for both students, alumni, and the community for School of Nursing, College, and University websites.
15% - Essential - Advocates for CU School of Nursing's mission, programs and objectives. Assignment of appropriate priorities to work activities based on the Strategic plan. Works with R,E,A,L leads on updating accountability and reports. Effectively plan and organize work activities and prioritize task completion to meet schedules and deadlines. Manages work and provides guidance to employees. Makes presentations and share reports of projects.
10% - Essential - Develops and maintains project documentation in both Box, and all assigned written files with protocol for retrieval for Accreditation reporting.
A bachelor's degree and 3 - 5 years demonstrated project management including quality improvement processes.
Firm Job Knowledge - Firm working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to use in varied situations
Supervises Work of Others - Supervises work of others and may offer recommendations for hiring, termination and pay adjustments but does not have responsibility for making these decisions.
Develops Department Budgets - Responsible for developing one or more departmental budget(s). Estimated amount of budgetary responsibility in dollar amount must be added.
Master's Degree, Healthcare Experience, and/or Licensed Project Manager preferred.
