Job Description:

Assistant Managers assist Store Managers in controlling store productivity, shelf management, and stock availability in all departments. Supervise associates while maintaining a controlled working environment. Follows and enforces company policies, procedures, and security protocols to meet customer needs and company standards.

Responsibilities:

• Execute given tasks set forth by Store Manager.
• Follow up on department personnel closing procedures.
• Department production; restocking of the store and product merchandising.
• Enforcing company policies when necessary.
• Upholding good customer service throughout the store.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment for both employees and customers.
• Ensure cash management procedures are followed for closings.
• Finalize completion of department closing for the day.
• Allocation control of departments.
• Assist in the recruitment/training of new employees into the store.

Required/Preferred Experience:

• Good interpersonal/customer service skills.
• Must be able to effectively communicate as a team leader.
• Receiving skills a plus.
• Spanish speaking a plus.
• Problem solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ordering Experience.
