JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Department of Pediatrics, is seeking a full-time experienced clinician/educator to fill key position #00029141 (opening due to planned retirement of valued colleague) as Medical Director of two 48 bed level III Neonatal Intensive Care Units. Applicant should possess credential to merit appointment at the tenure/non-tenure accruing level of Associate Professor/Full Professor and demonstrated administrative accomplishment. Responsibilities also include direct patient care and teaching of residents and physician extenders. There are fertile opportunities to participate in divisional clinical research activities. Salary is negotiable.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants should possess a MD/DO degree and be Board Eligible/Board Certified in neonatal/perinatal medicine.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with initiation and management of ECMO in the treatment of neonates with medical and/or surgical disease is desirable, but not necessary.
