Adjunct positions are pool positions. Qualified applicants will be contacted as a teaching need arises.
The Center for Teaching and Learning invites applications for a part-time adjunct instructor to teach Seminar courses focused on understanding and applying psychological concepts/learning strategies to create greater success in college.
These Seminar courses are specifically offered for students on academic warning or academic probation.
- 2 years experience working directly with college students who are on academic probation status.
- 1 year experience teaching or facilitating workshops for students on academic probation.

Responsibility / Duty
Adjunct instructors are professionals with the responsibility of providing a quality learning
experience for Marymount University students on a semester basis.
Adjunct instructors report to a dean, chair, or director and perform instruction-related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies and procedures of the university.
The relationship of the adjunct faculty member to the student is one of teacher and facilitator of learning.
Each adjunct is hired to instruct a particular course (s) within a department.
The chair/director of the department will review all duties as assigned, particular to the course being contracted to be taught.
