The Department of Systems and Information Engineering in the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Virginia seeks candidates for an important general faculty teaching and leadership position. The responsibilities of the position will be to teach four to six courses per year in systems engineering areas in support of the Department's on-grounds B.S. and M.E. programs and its professional M.E. program, the Accelerated Masters Program (AMP). Responsibilities also include administrative support for the AMP program. This full-time salaried position starts in the spring term of 2018 for a term of three years, and is renewable based on performance and continued availability of funding. Compensation is contingent upon experience.
Candidates must have a PhD in Systems Engineering or a related field by the appointment start date.
