RESEARCH TECHNICIAN, School of Medicine, Biochemistry (8926/G3117)
The Research Technician will investigate the molecular mechanisms regulating Hippo pathway signaling using molecular biology, cell biology, and biochemical procedures. Such research will include: mammalian cell culture, transfection and gene transfer in cultured cells, DNA and RNA preparation, microscopy analysis, protein isolation and analysis, and work with mouse models, including isolation of cells from animals. The incumbent will assist with technical aspects of experiments under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI) or other more senior research staff. Prepares and maintains research and laboratory materials; makes observations; and assists with data analysis of experiments. This position is grant funded.
12+ months of experience and Bachelor's degree required.
