Program Coordinator - Technical and Database

Position Category: Staff - Full-Time

The Community and Continuing Education Department at Utah Valley University is seeking to hire a full-time Program Coordinator to be responsible for all registrations, database/Aceware programming, and associated IT functions.

  • Maintain database for all courses, conferences, workshops and professional development, including input of all registration information, course information, facilities, costs and instruction personnel, with target dates of major marketing distribution.
  • Work with PCE team to ensure timely and accurate distribution of information.

Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or a combination of education and experience totaling four years.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, and registration databases such as Aceware and/or Banner.
  • Working knowledge of Google office suite. Basic knowledge of SQL helpful.
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of basic marketing practices helpful.
  • Proficient skills in using standard office equipment and MS Office Suite.
  • Effective communication skills, oral and written.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills with good organization and coordination techniques.
  • Proven skills in organization and maintenance of effective records management and information systems.
  • Ability to apply effective general principles to specific conditions and policies and follow written-oral procedures and instructions.
  • Must be very detail oriented.
  • Ability to build relationships with diverse constituents and organizations.

Pay Range: $30,052 to $37,565
