Bakery General Manager for offsite kitchen - Emporium Pies
We are currently looking for an experienced General Manager/Catering Manager or Chef Manager to join our young and exciting company and manage our off-site kitchen. Emporium Pies are a fast-paced growing company and we believe that our people matter. We want an enthusiastic, hardworking leader to join our family and be a part of our success.
Ideally you will have a similar background and have experience working in a busy similar environment. You will have experience in training and motivating team members, driving efficiency, be fully accountable for yourself, your business and be a lateral thinker.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
Minimum 2 years Management experience in a similar role
Be able to Inspire staff and coach and develop the team to reach their potential
Good knowledge of running a successful business from financial results to staffing
Passion for food
Experience in dealing with HR and ER issues
Experience in dealing with wage budgets and Profit and Loss accounts
Excellent communication skills
Dealing with a high-pressure environment
Creative and enthusiastic
High levels of personal hygiene
Experience in recruitment of staff
A proactive attitude in dealing with issues
Some kitchen experience
